VELLO BIKE+ GEARS | DERAILLEUR SYSTEM

Full control on any terrain: with the VELLO Bike+ GEARS, the manual 3-speed or 6-speed (3x2) combined with the Schlumpf drive, you have the ultimate gear versatility, keeping you flexible for all your adventures.

When you pedal backwards, the engine switches to regenerative braking, feeding the energy generated back into the battery for an already impressive range.

The all-in-one motor with hidden battery, 20' inch tires, and stiff frame provide the agility needed and allow for a stable and natural feel like a classic bike. Unlike the Bike+ AUTOMATIC with electronic automatic gear shifting with tilt sensor, the VELLO Bike+ GEARS allows you to manually adjust the gears.

OPTIONAL with SCHLUMPF DRIVE

To double the 3-speed derailleur to 6-speed (3x2), the VELLO Bike+ GEARS can be paired with a Speed Drive or Mountain Drive. The Speed Drive offers a higher gear for flatter urban environments, while the Mountain Drive offers a super low alternative to the standard gears, sufficient to tackle 17% climbs (gear ratio of 2.5:1).

For a more comfortable cadence at higher speeds, the ultra-flat planetary gear built into the bottom bracket is recommended with a gear ratio of 1:1.65.
